ABA Presents Potential Conflicts: Retained Counsel’s Duty to Zealously Represent the Insured vs. The Insurer’s Right to Control the Litigation
Houston Counsel Amy Greene will join the panel discussion "Potential Conflicts: Retained Counsel’s Duty to Zealously Represent the Insured vs. The Insurer’s Right to Control the Litigation" at the 2024 ABA Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee CLE Seminar in Tuscon, Arizona.
The program will challenge attendees to consider how they can zealously defend their insured clients and follow their jurisdiction’s ethical rules while simultaneously following the insurer’s guidelines and keeping the insurer happy with the costs. Different jurisdictions’ ethical rules and case law will be discussed with a focus on Texas and New York law.
