Associate Ashley Heilprin Honored With Professionalism Award by Louisiana State Bar

NEW ORLEANS – Phelps lawyer Ashley Heilprin was recognized by the Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Division as this year’s winner of the Hon. Michaelle Pitard Wynne Professionalism Award. The LSBA presented Ashley with the award at a ceremony Jan. 17 during the Louisiana Young Lawyers’ Conference, held in conjunction with the LSBA’s Midyear Meeting in Baton Rouge.

The Hon. Michaelle Pitard Wynne Professionalism Award is presented to a young lawyer for his or her commitment and dedication to upholding the quality and integrity of the legal profession. Ashley has worked with the Greater New Orleans Chapter Louis A. Martinet Legal Society Inc., including the creation of a networking program for minority law students, a CLE with the Association of Women Attorneys and serving on the Executive Committee for four years, which includes serving as President.

Ashley is an associate in Phelps’ New Orleans office, where she practices in the areas of civil trial and commercial litigation. She is a frequent author and speaker for the American Bar Association and was named to the National Bar Association’s 40 Under 40 list in 2018.
