Chris Ralston Installed as President of Tulane Alumni Association
NEW ORLEANS — Phelps partner Chris Ralston has been installed as president of Tulane Alumni Association (TAA). A 1999 graduate of Tulane Law School, Chris has served on TAA’s Board of Directors since 2013. His term as president began in 2020 and will run through July 2022.
TAA connects with alumni and engages them to become advocates for the university. During his term, Chris will also serve on the Board of Administrators for Tulane University.
Chris is a litigation partner and practice coordinator for the firm’s New Orleans Litigation Group. His cases span a broad range of commercial litigation issues, including intellectual property, commercial real estate disputes, trade secret and cyber disputes and tax.
In addition to his legal work, Chris is a recent board chairman for the Pro Bono Project, Louisiana Community Leadership board chair for the American Diabetes Association and a member of and officer for the ADA’s National Board of Directors, vice president of the Louisiana Bar Foundation and a member of the Louisiana Access to Justice Commission. He is also a recent past president of the New Orleans Bar Association and current president of the New Orleans Bar Associations’ Inn of Court.
