Clinton Wolbert Earns TBLS Insurance Law Board Certification

HOUSTON – Jan. 18, 2024 – Houston partner Clinton Wolbert earned the Insurance Law board certification through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (TBLS). TLBS launched the Insurance Law certification in 2023, and Clint is one of just 52 lawyers across Texas with board certification in this specialty. He joins the ranks of only 7% of Texas lawyers board-certified in their respective specialties.

TLBS certifies lawyers and paralegals with substantial, relevant experience in select areas of law that have completed continuing legal education hours in the specialty area and passed a rigorous exam.

Clint is the practice coordinator of Phelps’ Houston insurance group. He defends insurance companies in suits arising from first-party residential and commercial property claims, bad faith claims, large insurance market coverage claims, third-party coverage disputes, primary/excess coverage issues, UM/UIM matters, and special event coverages.

Clint and all other 2023 board-certified inductees will be honored at a ceremony and reception on March 15 at the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center in Austin, Texas.
