George McCall, Sondra Sylva and Erin Turner Join Phelps to Support Insurance Clients with a Sophisticated Domestic and International Litigation and Counseling Practice

DALLAS — June 21, 2024 — Phelps welcomes George McCall, Sondra Sylva and Erin Turner to assist domestic and international insurance companies and corporate clients with coverage and litigation matters. The team enhances Phelps’ insurance and litigation capabilities with its experience advising clients in the U.S., Bermuda, London, Caribbean and European markets.

George, Sondra and Erin focus their practice on insurance coverage counseling and litigation on behalf of domestic and international casualty insurers. They advise insurers in coverage disputes relating to directors and officers (D&O) liability, professional liability, employment liability, pollution and cyber liability policies. They counsel clients on underwriting and claims involving all types of property and casualty insurance.

The team monitors high-profile and high-risk litigation involving personal injury, mass torts and property damage on behalf of insurers. And they represent insured and self-insured clients in aviation, product liability, premises liability and business disputes.

The addition of this seasoned group of lawyers to the Firm’s Dallas/Fort Worth insurance team broadens the services Phelps offers to insurers and their clients.
