In Our Communities: Chris Ralston Elected President-Elect of Tulane Alumni Association
Phelps partner Chris Ralston has been elected president-elect of Tulane Alumni Association (TAA). A 1999 graduate of Tulane Law School, Chris has served on TAA’s Board of Directors since 2013. His term as president will begin in the summer of 2020.
TAA connects with alumni and engages them to become advocates for the University. During his term, Chris will also serve on the Board of Administrators for Tulane University.
Chris is a litigation partner and practice coordinator for the firm’s New Orleans Litigation Group. His cases span a broad range of commercial litigation issues, including intellectual property, commercial real estate disputes, trade secret and cyber disputes and tax.
In addition to his legal work, Chris is board chairman for the Pro Bono Project, Louisiana Community Leadership board chair for the American Diabetes Association and a member of the ADA’s National Board of Directors, vice president of the Louisiana Bar Foundation and a member of the Louisiana Access to Justice Commission. He is also a recent past president of the New Orleans Bar Association.
