In Our Communities: Daniel Lund III Recently Elected to Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel's Board of Directors
Phelps Partner Daniel Lund III was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel (LADC). In recent years, Dan has been involved with the organization as a contributing author to the LADC monthly newsletter and was recently asked to sit on the Board for District 4 - Fourth Circuit.
The LADC is a nonprofit organization that provides information, ideas and techniques of procedure in relation to those lawyers who truly focus their professional time on civil litigation work. The organization seeks to enhance knowledge and improve skills of defense lawyers, to elevate the standards of trial practice, to supports a high standard of trial conduct and court room decorum and to promote improvements in the administration of justice increasing the quality and availability of legal services.
The LADC is one of several organizations on a national, state and local level in which Dan is involved. Dan’s primary practice is in the area of construction litigation, and he regularly writes and lectures on construction law topics.
