They broke down the growing momentum in Congress for a national standard, underscored by the bipartisan American Privacy Rights Act. They explored how the proposed national framework compares with current state and international regulations and offered practical guidance on:

• Applying rights to access, correct, delete and export personal data
• Implementing data minimization principles and robust data security practices
• Understanding the requirements for limiting data collection and ensuring the protection of sensitive information to enhance organizational compliance and reduce the risk of data breaches
