John Mullen Joins Florida Legal Elite Hall of Fame

Tampa, Fla. — Feb. 28, 2023 — Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite inducted Phelps Partner John Mullen into its Hall of Fame. He joins fellow Tampa Partner John Phillips in this recognition and has consistently been recognized by the Florida Legal Elite over the past 15 years.

Only a handful of new lawyers are selected each year to the Legal Elite Hall of Fame. To be considered, lawyers must have a strong track record of recognition among the Legal Elite and consistently earn high rankings from their peers.

John was recognized for his work in Phelps’ Tampa labor and employment practice group. He guides employers in a wide range of industries through complex commercial litigation and arbitration. He also currently serves as the chair of the Ethics Committee for the firm.

For almost 20 years, Florida Trend has invited all in-state members of the Florida Bar to vote for lawyers they highly regard or would recommend to others. An outside vendor counted all ballots and scored lawyers based on the number of votes they received, with more weight applied to votes from outside their firms.
