Mark Broom Chosen for 2024 PICG Claims Academy

DALLAS/FORT WORTH - June 4, 2024 - Phelps associate Mark Broom attended the Property Insurance Claims Group (PICG) Claims Academy as a delegate on behalf of the firm. Mark was one of only 30 insurance professionals chosen to attend this year’s academy.

PICG is a Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA) Claims Committee that provides a representative forum for discussion of common issues and concerns within the property market in London and on an international basis. The third annual Academy was held from April 29 to May 10 and provided delegates with a unique insight into Lloyd’s of London and the London insurance market.

Mark is a member of Phelps’ Dallas/Fort Worth insurance group. With a focus on first-party property insurance, he helps both domestic and international insurers navigate complex litigation and arbitration matters.
