NBA Presents A.I. 2.0 - Updates on Legislation & Litigation

Baton Rouge associate Michael Victorian will moderate the panel discussion "A.I. 2.0 - Updates on Legislation & Litigation" at the National Bar Association 2023 Labor and Employment Section Annual Conference hosted at the Lowes Miami Beach Hotel in Miami, FL from October 26 - 28. 

This discussion will discuss AI technology use in employment and will provide the regulatory framework that is currently in effect, and soon to be in effect. The panel will also discuss mitigating the risk of algorithmic bias for employers.

The discussion will educate legal professionals about the potential use and bias in automated decision-making tools that may be in use in their organizations, including private law firms and in-house legal departments. The panel will also discuss the benefit of using these tools to increase the diversity of candidates for positions within the legal community and outside of it.
