Phelps Adds Real Estate Partner to Tampa Office
TAMPA – Phelps Dunbar is committed to providing effective, practical solutions for its business clients in Florida and throughout the region. The firm took another step toward that goal with its latest hire of partner Rob Gidel in the Tampa office.
Rob strengthens Phelps’ ability to deliver specialized real estate legal services. He enhances the firm’s ability to attract and take on larger, more complex projects.

Rob has devoted his practice to commercial real estate. His background runs the gamut, from negotiations, to buying and selling commercial projects, to representing developers and lenders.
In 2015, Senators Bill Nelson and Marco Rubio appointed Rob to serve on the Florida Federal Judicial Nominating Commission to select the finalists for all U.S. District Judge, U.S. Attorney and U.S. Marshal vacancies in Florida.He is a founding member of the Board of Directors for The Society of Real Estate Professionals, Inc. and is a past President of the Tampa Bay Bergstrom Council.
