Phelps Announces Election of New Counsel
NEW ORLEANS, La. – Dec. 29, 2022 – Phelps is pleased to announce the election of five lawyers to Counsel. Representing five different offices across the firm’s footprint, the election of these lawyers results from their dedication to their practice of law and commitment to providing exceptional service to the firm’s clients.

Phelps’ newest counsel class includes:
- Robert C. Bass – (Tupelo, Business) focuses his practices in the area of business and corporate transactions, with a focus on commercial real estate transactions.
- H. David “Trey” Clark III – (Jackson, Employment) practices in the area of labor and employment, representing both private and public employers.
- Mary Drabnis – (Baton Rouge, Business) prepares and prosecutes a variety of patent matters on behalf of clients and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- E. Barrett Hails – (Mobile, Litigation) represents marine businesses and vessel owners in casualty, property and commercial disputes.
- Drury S. “Dru” Holland – (Gulfport, Insurance) represents clients in the defense of a variety of commercial insurance claims.
