Phelps Counsel Danielle Mashburn-Myrick Named to Mobile’s 40 Under 40
MOBILE, Ala. — Jan. 4, 2022 — Phelps Counsel Danielle Mashburn-Myrick was honored among Mobile Bay Magazine’s 2022 Class of 40 Under 40. The magazine chooses recipients across all of the city’s industries, from the art and medicine to education and business fields, who demonstrate their commitment to the community through leadership and professional excellence.
Danielle focuses her legal practice on helping individuals and small businesses find a path through bankruptcy and move forward in their personal and professional lives. She understands what’s at stake for both creditors and debtors when bankruptcy’s involved and is well-versed in finding solutions that move both sides toward resolution.
While Mobile Bay Magazine recognized Danielle for establishing a bankruptcy practice in Phelps’ Mobile office, she was also chosen for her work outside of the office. Before starting her legal practice, she served in the U.S. Peace Corps, teaching English in Kyrgyztan. And she’s been a longtime leader in her community, contributing to local causes through St. James Episcopal Church and even running for elected office in 2018.
Mobile Bay Magazine described this year’s honorees as “raising the bar of success and inspiring optimism for this new year on the Bay.” Get to know Danielle and the rest of her 40 Under 40 class here.
