Phelps Partner Appointed as New Mississippi Director of the Gulf Coast IWIRC Network Board
JACKSON, Miss. — October 27, 2022 – Phelps Partner Sarah Beth Wilson has been appointed as the new Mississippi Director of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) Gulf Coast Network Board.
IWIRC is an international organization that focuses on the connection, promotion and success of women in insolvency and restructuring professions worldwide. The Gulf Coast Network of the organization encompasses the states of Alabama, Mississippi and the central time zone of Florida.
Sarah Beth is a Partner in the firm’s Jackson office and also the current Chairman of the Board of Banking Review for the State of Mississippi. A National Board-Certified Specialist in business-bankruptcy law, Sarah Beth represents commercial clients and lenders in connection with commercial bankruptcy litigation, creditors’ rights enforcement and collection matters, and in lender liability defense. Sarah Beth frequently presents at legal and banking seminars and conferences on commercial and financial litigation issues, business-bankruptcy matters and creditors’ rights law.
