Phelps Partner Featured in 2020 Texas Super Lawyers List

HOUSTON — Peri Alkas, a partner in Phelps’ Houston office, made the 2020 edition of Texas Super Lawyers.

Peri, who practices in Phelps’ insurance group, earned a spot on the list for the ninth straight year. She was also recognized in The Best Lawyers in America 2021 for insurance law and insurance litigation in Houston earlier this year.

Super Lawyers conducts independent research to evaluate attorneys on 12 factors, including clients, experience, licenses and certifications, verdicts, awards and honors, scholarly lectures, and pro bono and community service, among others. After the assessment, lawyers vote on their peers across a state or geographic area. The top 5% of these attorneys are picked for the Super Lawyers (Thompson Reuters) list.
