Phelps Partner Kim Boyle Added to LSLI Committee to Improve Louisiana Employment Law
NEW ORLEANS — Feb. 15, 2022 — The executive committee of the Louisiana State Law Institute appointed Phelps partner Kim Boyle to its Employment Law Committee. The committee includes distinguished lawyers and legal educators from across the state that discuss and advocate for employment law reform.
Kim’s experience and perspective as a seasoned litigator on employment issues will be a major asset to the institute, which aims to clarify, simplify and adapt Louisiana law, improve the administration of justice and promote scholarly legal research. Committee members act as advisors to the state’s legislature, researching and recommending needed reforms and increasing the community’s understanding of civil law.
Kim joins fellow Phelps partner Jim Stuckey as a member of the institute. Jim has served on several committees, but currently acts as chairman and reporter for the Uniform Commercial Code Committee. Learn more about the institute’s mission and accomplishments here.
