Phelps Partner Todd Butler Joins International Association of Defense Counsel
G. Todd Butler, a partner in Phelps’ Jackson office, joined the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC).
The IADC is the foremost global organization for lawyers who represent corporate and insurance interests. Members are nominated by their peers. They complete an extensive review process before being invited to join by the board of directors.
Todd’s practice centers on civil rights and employment defense, as well as appellate litigation. He has served as counsel in more than 100 trial court cases and argues in federal and state courts throughout the U.S.
Outside of his role at Phelps, Todd is a member of the Federalist Society and an adjunct professor at Mississippi College School of Law.
Todd graduated from Mississippi College School of Law. He earned his bachelor’s from Mississippi State University.
