Phelps Reinforces Litigation Services for Construction Clients
BATON ROUGE, La. — December 14, 2021 — Phelps welcomes Partner Brad Boudreaux to help construction clients quickly resolve disputes and get back to doing business. As Baton Rouge welcomes massive new industrial and commercial construction investments, Brad adds to the Firm’s ability to help companies keep projects moving while managing evolving supply chain, workforce and sustainability issues.
“Brad brings a deep understanding of every facet of litigation to his work at Phelps,” said Ragan Richard, managing partner of the Firm’s Baton Rouge office. “He expands the Firm’s foothold in Baton Rouge to offer practical advice on dispute resolution in the city’s thriving construction sector.”
Brad provides practical counsel to businesses of all sizes to help them navigate construction-related disputes. He has extensive experience finding creative solutions for all companies involved in builds, from general contractors to design professionals. He’s well-versed in identifying opportunities for compromise to resolve claims quickly and cost-effectively. But if matters need to be resolved in court, clients turn to Brad’s experience trying cases to successful verdicts in both bench and jury trials in state and federal courts.
“I’m excited to join Phelps’ team of experienced construction lawyers to help clients manage conflicts quickly and economically, where possible,” Brad said. “I’m ready to leverage my knowledge of mediation and trial considerations to add to the Firm’s capabilities and find solutions that protect clients’ interests while promoting their goals.”
A graduate of Louisiana State University Law Center, Brad will be resident in the Firm’s Baton Rouge office. For any questions, contact Ragan Richard at 225-376-0227.
