Terra Silva Joins Girls Inc. of Central Alabama Junior Board
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Sept. 5, 2024 - Phelps associate Terra Silva stepped into her role on the Girls Inc. of Central Alabama’s Committee of 25, the organization’s Junior Board. Terra will expand on Phelps’ continued partnership with Girls Inc. to empower girls ages 6-18 across the region to succeed. The nonprofit organization focuses on well-rounded development through support, mentorship and guidance. Girls Inc.’s programming helps girls lead healthy lives, succeed academically, and gain life skills to prepare for adulthood.
Terra is a member of Phelps’ Birmingham litigation practice group and represents businesses and insurers to resolve insurance disputes and employment issues. She also helps clients across the railroad industry navigate FRSA and FELA claims. Terra has prior experience counseling foreign nationals on immigration issues including asylum, special immigrant juvenile status, and removal proceedings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review.
