Two Phelps Lawyers Named American Bar Foundation Fellows
NEW ORLEANS— Isabel Bonilla-Mathé and Ashley Heilprin, associates in Phelps’ New Orleans office, were named Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.
The Fellows comprise a global honorary society of attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars who show outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities. Membership is limited to 1% of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Members are nominated by their peers and elected by the foundation’s board.

Isabel graduated from Tulane University Law School. She earned her master's in health administration from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and her bachelor’s from the University of Miami.

In the community, Ashley serves on the board of directors for Collegiate Academies, the Young Leadership Council and the ACLU of Louisiana.
