U.S. News Names Phelps to 2024 “Best Companies to Work for: Law Firms” List

NEW ORLEANS — Feb. 8, 2024 — U.S. News and World Report named Phelps to its inaugural “Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms” list. The 2024 report highlights leading law firms across the country to help employees and job seekers find workplaces that offer the best fit for them.  

The U.S. News & World Report “Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms” list evaluates how individual law firms meet the needs and expectations of their employees compared to their competitors. Firms are ranked by six metrics:

• • Quality of pay and benefits
  • Work-life balance
  • Job stability
  • Physical and psychological comfort
  • Belongingness
  • Opportunities for professional development

Among the six metrics used to rank each firm, Phelps earned top scores in quality of pay and benefits, job stability and work-life balance. U.S. News and World Report works with Leopard Solutions and Revelio Labs to gather relevant data and calculate the metrics used to rank each firm, as well as utilizing public information from company websites and employee reviews on Glassdoor.
