Birmingham

Birmingham is called the Magic City because it grew like magic, a boom town of the late 19th century. The city is still growing, but today our magic has more to do with our southern hospitality  — the magical warmth of our people.

Birmingham is a metropolitan community located in north-central Alabama riding the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. It is a generous city with geographic good fortune. Birmingham is big enough to be cosmopolitan with great arts events and gourmet dining, but small enough to be friendly and easy to navigate.
