Jaime Hurley helps clients finance, buy, sell and develop commercial real estate — from apartments and condos, office buildings and restaurants to industrial and retail spaces and vacant tracts of land. She advises established and emerging businesses on corporate matters and helps them with mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. In her real estate practice, Jaime helps clients navigate contracts, purchase agreements, leases, and servitude agreements. She drafts and enforces subdivision and condominium restrictions governing clients’ highly regulated developments. She advises developers on property and entity due diligence and evaluates title and survey matters. She also prepares legal opinions for lenders on conventional, construction and HUD loans for real estate development.
Jaime assists utilities in the development, engineering, procurement and construction of numerous substations and switching stations throughout the South. In connection with this representation, she has been involved in several solar projects.
