Jordan Hawk concentrates her practice on insurance with a focus on first-party claims. She counsels insurers through amount of loss disputes and complex property coverage issues, including:

- Water damage
While in law school, Jordan joined Cumberland’s National Arbitration Team, which competed at the ABA National Arbitration Competition, and was a member of the National Finalist team in 2020. She was also named a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow and served as an executive member of the Trial Advocacy Board.
Experience
- Acted as co-counsel in defense of domestic insurer in bad faith and marine insurance breach of contract claims. Successfully obtained summary judgement dismissing claim of bad faith on behalf of the client. After a jury trial in the Southern District of Alabama, negotiated a six-figure demand to a five-figure settlement regarding the breach of contract claim.
