She helps clients avoid further litigation and provides them with an informed understanding of their legal rights and obligations. When litigation does occur, Maggie zealously advocates on behalf of clients to minimize risk. She also acts as monitoring counsel for insurers, strategizing on behalf of underwriters to help resolve complex coverage disputes.
Before joining Phelps, Maggie handled class actions and multidistrict litigation. She also previously served as an Alabama Court of Civil Appeals Staff Attorney and Assistant District Attorney. Maggie’s diverse legal background has equipped her with valuable insight to assess and evaluate complex cases.
