Michael Hunt brings a career trial lawyer's perspective to helping clients resolve seemingly intractable disputes. Experience
- Defended the director of a technology company in two separate suits alleging violations of Louisiana securities laws. Dismissals were obtained in the trial court and affirmed on appeal.
- Obtained trial and appellate judgments in favor of the owner of a pipe manufacturing facility in a dispute with the design-build contractor over alleged breach of contract and misrepresentation.
- Won a jury verdict against a chemical manufacturer and trucking concern recovering millions paid for an emergency remediation after an explosion contaminated a large area.
- Won a jury verdict for a lawyer accused of breach of fiduciary duty and racketeering arising from the sale of a real estate development. The verdict was affirmed on appeal.
- Represented a chemical manufacturer in successfully prosecuting civil antitrust claims against suppliers of raw materials who conspired to fix prices.
