Experience
- Counseled mental health professionals and expert witnesses through pre-trial matters and motions, including Daubert issues, in United States v. Mississippi, a case where the federal government sued Mississippi, alleging that its mental health system violated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Firm appealed a district court ruling siding with the federal government to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and won a reversal.
- In investigating a multi-million dollar timeshare weather-related loss claim, assisted with identifying and analyzing coverage issues and reached a pre-trial reasonable resolution.
