- Representing individuals, estates and businesses involved in tax examinations, audits, appeals and litigation with the Internal Revenue Service, Louisiana Department of Revenue and local taxing authorities.
- Structuring transactions and businesses to minimize federal, state and local tax liability.
- Advising clients on various types of entity and joint venture formations, advising buyers and sellers in the acquisition and sale of small and large businesses and general counseling of both established and emerging businesses.
- Assisting new and expanding businesses to secure federal, state and local tax and business incentives.
- Representing individuals and businesses, including Certified Public Accountants and their clients, in researching complex tax issues.
- Advising clients with respect to and the drafting of wills, trusts, nonprofit organizations and family limited liability companies, as well as representing clients in succession matters.
- Providing advice to nonprofits on formation, corporate governance, tax exemption and compliance with tax exempt law.
