Scott Ellzey

Scott Ellzey practices in the areas of commercial litigation and general insurance defense matters involving both third-party liability claims and first-party coverage issues in state and federal court. Additionally, he has extensive experience defending tort claim liability matters, as well as transportation litigation, municipal liability defense claims, products liability claims and professional liability matters.
Scott served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Mississippi as part of its undergraduate continuing education program, teaching contracts, torts, and civil litigation, and has lectured and taught at state and regional continuing legal education seminars and other legal and industry meetings.

- Representation of insurers in regard to coverage opinions and defense litigation in areas of individual and commercial property insurance and liability insurance coverages.
- Representation of individual insureds and commercial entities in defense of multiple-fatality third-party liability claims.
- Representation of local political subdivisions (city and county) and state agencies in defense of tort claim liability matters.
- Representation of commercial entities in defense of breach of contract claims and negligent repair and construction matters.
- Representation in defense of professional liability claims.
