Stephen Anderson works with businesses, lenders, and governmental entities on transactions involving commercial real estate, revenue bond issuance, tax incentive financing and commercial lending. He understands how to make a transaction work, drawing all sides together, so the deal gets done.
Steve worked in house for a publicly traded Fortune 100 company. Currently, he is issuer’s counsel for The Health, Educational and Housing Facility Board of the County of Shelby, Tennessee and assists the Economic Development Growth Engine Industrial Development Board for the City of Memphis and County of Shelby, Tennessee in the areas of revenue bond issuance and tax increment financing.
Experience
- Represented a governmental issuer of revenue bonds for educational, healthcare, and multi-family housing facilities for over thirty years.
- Developed revenue bond policies and tax increment financing policies for an industrial development board.
- Obtained state approval for a 30-year PILOT for an existing low-income elderly housing facility.
- Drafted amended and restated declarations of covenants, conditions and restrictions for an existing planned unit development.
