Served as lead counsel for one of the primary defendants in Champlain Towers collapse litigation, managing litigation and public relations strategy, including expert investigations and multiparty defense efforts, to resolve one of the largest class actions in Florida history.
Facility Expansions
Drafted and negotiated multiple procurement and construction contracts related to $2 billion expansion of international fertilizer manufacturer’s existing facility on the Gulf Coast.
Bid Protest Defense
Defended general contractor against bid protest related to the construction of a new terminal at the New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport.
Government Contracts
Secured $27 million contract award for general contractor after defending against a bid protest concerning a design-build construction project for major metropolitan area’s sewerage and wastewater board.
Multistate Disputes
Defended international engineering firm against claims of improper design and cost overruns during construction of a 140-mile interstate natural gas pipeline through Louisiana and Texas.
Claim Prosecution
Prosecuted claims arising from foundation failure on behalf of an office building complex developer against a design team and contractors, involving two arbitration proceedings and state court litigation.
Infrastructure Claims
Lead counsel for international engineering firm in a $100 million errors and omissions claim relating to the design and construction of bridge foundations for a reversible lane expressway.
Environmental Litigation
Obtained summary judgment and resolved all claims on appeal for an international architectural and engineering firm in class-action suit brought by Florida homeowners over alleged errors and omissions in environmental assessment performed by United States Army Pine Castle Jeep Bombing Range.
